Ghanaian forward Samuel Tetteh bagged his first goal for SKN St Pölten in the Austrian Típico Bundesliga against SVR Ried on Sunday.

The 24-year-old secured a vital away point for his side as they drew 1-1 at the Josko Arena.

Patrick Schmidt opened the scoring the home side in the 44th minute of the game.

With seven minutes left to play in regulation time, Tetteh scored the equaliser for the visitors. Taylor Booth set up the Ghanaian in the box who applied a finishing touch with his right foot into the bottom left corner from close range.

The two teams held on as they shared the spoils in the Austrian Típico Bundesliga.

Tetteh joined SKN St. Pölten on loan from Red Bull Salzburg.

Tetteh, who has 16 goals and 11 assists in 66 Bundesliga outings, most recently enjoyed a four-month loan spell in the MLS with partner club New York Red Bulls after previously spending two seasons with LASK Linz.
