Ghanaian goalkeeper Joseph Anang has made a return to St Patrick's Athletic following the conclusion of his contract with English Premier League side West Ham United.

Anang, a Ghanaian-born England youth international, has committed to a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Irish outfit from the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Anang's association with St Patrick's Athletic is not new, as he previously spent six months on loan with the club in 2022 before heading back to West Ham, where he was part of the squad that won the UEFA Conference League the following season.

In response to this significant development, the club expressed their delight, stating, "St Patrick's Athletic are thrilled to announce the signing of Joseph Anang on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

“The Ghanaian-born goalkeeper, who spent six months on loan with us in 2022, returns to Inchicore after seven years on the books of West Ham United."

The former Wa All Stars goalkeeper played for the Hammers at every level except the senior side.
