Ghana and US Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan has emerged as a target for SS Napoli ahead of the January transfer window, Footballghana.com can report.
Duncan has been impressive for the Neroverdi after a slow a start to the season, scoring one goal and registering four assists in four league games.
According to reports in the Italian tabloids, Napoli have expressed interest in signing the 26-year-old following his incredible performances for the Mapei Stadium outfit.
This is the second time in two successive transfer windows that the former Inter Milan youngster has been linked with a move to the Partenopei.
He was heading to the San Paolo in the summer following a breakthrough campaign last term, but Carlo Ancellotti’s side failed to meet Sassuolo’s €20 million asking price.
It remains to be seen whether Sassuolo will sell the Ghanaian in January as they are flirting with relegation at the moment.
