Ghana international Daniel Opare set to leave Royal Antwerp in summer

Ghana international Daniel Opare is likely to leave Royal Antwerp in the summer.

The 28-year-old is among 14 players expected to leave as free-agents, having joined the Belgian Jupilar Pro League side on a two-year deal with an option for an additional one year.

However, he has failed to hit the ground running at the club due to persistent injuries.

According to reports in the Belgian tabloids claims that Opare could be allowed to leave in the summer as the club aim to beef up their squad for next season.

The right-back is reported to be joined on the list by Dieumerci Mbokani, Steven Defour, Kevin Mirallas, Sinan Bolat, Dino Arslanagic, Sambou Yatabaré, Amara Baby, Daniel Opare, Steve Colpaert, Jens Teunckens and Robbe Quirynen.

The former FC Augsburg defender is yet to make a single appearance for the club this season.
