Ghana international Joseph Adjei tastes win on debut for Cape Town City

Former Wa All Stars defender Joseph Adjei enjoyed a win on his  Premier Soccer League (PSL) debut with Cape Town City FC on Wednesday after coming off the bench in their 1-0 win over Bloemfontein Celtic.

 

The centre-back replaced Aubrey Ngoma in the 86th minute as his side managed to hold onto Lehlohonolo Michael Majoro's 23rd minute goal for the maximum three points.

The win puts Cape Town City FC fifth on the league table after eight matches.

Adjei who played 15 games for Wa All stars in the 2015/2016 season with a goal to his credit, joined the South African side in August this year.

 

The 21 year old Joseph Adjei, represented Ghana at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand where the Black Satellites finished top of their group in the tournament above Austria, Argentina, and Panama.
