Ghana and Rizespor ace Joseph Attamah Larweh was left disappointed after his side lost 2-0 to Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig over the weekend.

Larweh lasted the entire duration of the game as they failed to pick up at least a point at Türk Telekom Stadium

Montassir Talbi scored own goal in the 15th minute to hand the home side the lead before Ryan Babel doubled their advantage three minutes later with a fine finish.

The 25-year-old, who is currently on loan from Istanbul Baseksehir says Galatasaray wanted the win more than his side after putting up a 100% performance at home.

"Galatasaray played with 100 percent in the home field. They didn't have good results in recent weeks. Therefore, they came to the field with this idea. I think it's effective. Our problem is not a displacement, but a new team," he said after the game.

Montassir Talbi scored a 15th minute own goal to hand the home side the advantage before former Liverpool forward Ryan Babel doubled the lead three minutes later with a fine finish.

The versatile Ghanaian has been one of the standout players for Rizespor this season, making nine appearances and providing one assist.
