Ghana international Rashid Sumaila has returned to full training with Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade after he limped off in his side's 3-0 drubbing of Subotica on Sunday.

The 25-year-old was substituted in the second half after feeling a twitch in his left hamstring.

The tough-tackling defender underwent a medical checkup the day after to ascertain the severity of the knock, however, the doctors gave him a clean bill of health and told him he could rejoin his teammates in training.

After taking a day off he has returned to full-scale training to allay any injury fears.

He joined Red Star on loan from Al Qadsia in the ongoing transfer window and is already growing into being a key cog of the side.
