Ghanaian football legend, Abedi Ayew Pele hosted Nigerian giants Sahel FC at his East Legon resident on Wednesday afternoon.
The club is currently in Ghana as part of a pre-season tour as they continue preparations for the upcoming 2019/2020 season.
They engaged Accra Hearts of Oak in a friendly match last week Friday and cruised past the Phobians with a 2-1 win. Whiles, they plan to play a couple more friendlies, they took the time to pay a courtesy call on Abedi Pele today.
The maestro hosted them and gave the players of Sahel FC some words of inspiration. He additional advised the technical handlers of the Nigerian side to embark on refresher courses to enhance their craft.
Sahel FC will move from Ghana to Togo shortly to finish off their pre-season before heading to Nigeria for the start of the League.
