The former CAF General Secretary emphasized the immense potential within every individual, regardless of their educational background.

Baffoe stressed that a lack of formal education should not be a barrier to success in football or any other field.

He encouraged young players to seize every opportunity to educate themselves, whether through formal channels or practical experiences in their football careers.

He highlighted the importance of lifelong learning and self-improvement, noting that continuous education can come from various sources.

“Nobody was born dumb, but sometimes it is economic challenges that cut people down,” Baffoe remarked, urging the youth to rise above their circumstances.

In his address, Baffoe also cautioned aspiring footballers to be extremely vigilant when signing contracts.

He pointed out that a single contract could either make or break their careers, underscoring the necessity of understanding all terms and conditions before committing.

He advised them to seek professional guidance and to be wary of exploitative deals that could hinder their progress.

Baffoe’s speech provided not just motivation but also practical advice on navigating the complexities of a professional football career.
