Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has heaped praise on teen star Ernest Nuamah while tipping him to attain greater height of his career.

Nuamah, who plies his trade for Danish side FC Nordjaelland put up a splendid performance to help the Black Meteors defeat Algeria at the Baba Yara Stadium on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old forward capped an impressive performance with an assist as Ghana defeated the North African side narrowly to progress.

The Black Meteors sealed qualification to the Africa U23 Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco in June this year after beating Algeria in the final round of qualifiers.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku netted the winner as the Black Meteors completed a 2-1 aggregate win to earn their place in Morocco.

After the game, the all-time topscorer for Ghana took to social media to eulogize Nuamah.

“Another next big thing for Ghana. Check out the jersey number his is wearing” he tweeted.
