Ghana midfielder Abdul Salis Samed features for RC Lens in 2-1 win over Reims

Ghana midfielder, Abdul Salis Samed lasted 90 minutes on Friday night when RC Lens locked horns with Stade de Reims.

The highly-rated Black Stars midfielder put on a top performance for his team today in the Round 35 encounter of the ongoing 2022/23 French Ligue 1 season.

Meanwhile, the first half of the contest between RC Lens and Stade de Reims ended in a 1-1 draw.

The visitors took the lead through Balogun in the 23rd minute before Przemyslaw Frankowski equalised to restore parity to the game in the 40th minute.

Due to a red card for Kevin Danso, RC Lens had to play the entire second half with 10 men.

Regardless of the disadvantage, the team managed to score a second goal through Seko Fofana in the 55th minute to secure a 2-1 comeback win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Courtesy of the win today, Abdul Salis Samed and his RC Lens side are now just three points behind league leaders PSG.
