Ghana midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan is set to return to his parent club, Fiorentina following his loan spell at Cagliari, Footballghana.com understands.
Duncan joined Cagliari until the end of the season, with an option of a permanent move at the end of the spell.
The 28-year-old made only four league appearances for Fiorentina before his move away from the club in his search for more playing time.
Despite his impressive performances for Cagliari, he is expected to return to his parent club.
He made 19 appearances for the side.
In total, he made 24 appearances this season and provided two assists.
Duncan will return to Fiorentina in the summer after refusing to extend his stay.
