Ghana midfielder Baba Iddrisu makes injury return in Real Mallorca’s comeback win over Real Union in Spain

Ghana international Iddrisu Baba made his return from injury for Real Mallorca in their win over Real Union in the Spanish Copa del Rey.

The midfielder who missed World Cup 2022 due to an injury setback lasted the entire duration as his outfit defeat the lower-tier club to progress in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

Baba bossed the midfield to help his side secure a 1-0 win over their opponent as they progress to the third round of the Spanish Cup.

Dani Rodriguez's 20 minute winner ensured Real Mallorca made a winning return to competitive action.

Real Mallorca will face Getafe when La Liga resumes on December 30.

Baba has been a key cog in the Mallorca team despite struggles with injuries this term. His injury comeback is major boost for the Vermilions.

The Ghana international has made 19 appearances across all competitions this season for Real Mallorca.
