Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil has made an injury return and has been declared ready to feature for KRC Genk in their Uefa Champions League match against Red Bull Salzburg later today.

The Black Meteors attacker picked up a knock during the side’s Friday fixture in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League and had to be replaced after 43 minutes by Theo Bongonda.

Following further checks, Paintsil has been cleared ready to play for Genk tonight when his side open their campaign in this year’s Champions League against Austria side Red Bull Salzburg.
