Ghana international Thomas Partey is an Emirate Cup champion after helping Arsenal to beat Lyon to lift the trophy on Sunday.
The Black Stars midfielder started and lasted 77 minutes as the Gunners cruised to a 2-0 win over the French Ligue 1 giants to emerge as champions in the thrilling clash.
The Gunners ends the preseason training with Emirate Cup success and will be eyeing a successful 2024/25 season.
Partey delivered a top-class performance to help his outfit snatch victory over their opponent.
France international William Saliba opened the scoring for the English outfit after just nine minutes into the game before Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhães scored to extend the lead for the host.
And with no additional goal in the second half, Arsenal cruised to victory to clinch the trophy at the Emirate Stadium.
Partey, who has been linked with a move away from Arsenal will be hoping for a successful season with the Gunners. The Black Stars midfielder was limited to few games last season due to persistent injury setbacks.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Ernest Nuamah made substitute appearance in the thrilling clash. He was introduced in the 64th minute but could do little to save his side from defeat.
