The midfielder in pre-season limped off during a friendly match with London rivals Chelsea.

Having gone on to miss Arsenal’s opening match of the 2021/2022 English Premier League season against Brentford, he was ruled out of action for three more weeks.

Fortunately, Thomas Partey has now recovered from his injury and has already returned to training at his club.

Through his injuries, Thomas Partey had to miss Ghana’s first two matches in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

He should be ready to feature for Arsenal next weekend when the Gunners take on Norwich City.

If he manages to stay fit throughout this month, he should be called in the next international break in October when Ghana takes on Group G opponent Zimbabwe in a doubleheader.
