After a few months without football, the Ghana Premier League will commence on 13th November, 2020.

The 2019/20 season began with promise and went all the way to match day 15 but it was cut short due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in March.
During that month, the competition was suspended and in June, it was cancelled altogether.

The President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo removed the ban placed on contact sports which allowed the Ghana Football Association to pick 13th November for the start of the new season.
All 16 teams have been preparing for the campaign to begin.
