Hearts of Oak’s clash against Aduana Stars on the opening weekend of the Ghana Premier League is in doubt following reports of multiple cases of Coronavirus in the camp of the Phobians.

Over the past weekend, the Accra-based club in a post on their Twitter page announced that 3 of their players have tested positive for the Covid-19.

Today reports coming in from Oyerepa FM have revealed that as many as 31 personel at Hearts of Oak have tested positive for the Coronavirus disease.

According to the reports, the infected persons comprise of players, technical team members, management members, as well as workers at the secretariat.

In line with the news, the match between Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars risk being postponed if subsequent tests in the course of the week do not come out negative for most of the players of the Phobians.

Meanwhile, it is understood that all infected personnel have been put in isolation and receiving the needed care.
