Bechem United finally brought an end to their three game winless streak with a narrow 2-1 victory over Liberty Professionals at the Bechem Park.
The Hunters needed just seven minutes to announce their presence against the Scientific Soccer Lads. Moro Salifu showed good finishing ability to give the hosts the lead.
Bechem were lively for the rest of the first half and got another goal just five minutes to the break. This time it was Abdulai Karim who found the net for the hosts.
David Ocloo’s side managed to pull one back through George Ansong in the 79th minute but it proved too little too late as Bechem held on for the win. They have now amassed 17 points and are 6th on the log whilst Liberty Professionals drop to 13th with just 13 points.
