Ghana Premier League Matchday 11 report: King Faisal held to a draw by Legon Cities

King Faisal fail to find their first win of the campaign as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Legon Cities at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Legon Cities were better in the opening stages of the game but had to wait until the dying embers of the first half to find their breakthrough.

Benjamin Nii Okine was the goal scorer for the Royals as they went into the break with a slender lead.

King Faisal fought back at the start of the second half and got a great chance to level matters in the 48th minute. The Insha Allah boys were awarded a penalty and Kwame Peprah stepped up but missed.

They were not downcast by the situation and finally found the net in the 57th minute through Ibrahim Osman. The forward has scored seven goals for the Kumasi-based side so far.

Legon Cities are currently 14th with 12 points and King Faisal are bottom of the table with 5 points.
