Elmina Sharks continued their fine form in the competition with another victory and this time their victims were Liberty Professionals.
The Elmina-based outfit have extended their unbeaten run to five games, winning four of them.
They got off to a fantastic start in just nine minutes. Benjamin Tweneboah gave the advantage to the hosts and they got their second just before half time. Mustapha Alhaji was the goalscorer on that occasion.
In the second half, they did not take their foot off the gas and were rewarded with their third in the 52nd minute through Augustine Owusu.
Liberty did get a consolation goal in the 67th minute and it was Mubarak Alhassan who found the net.
Elmina Sharks move up to 5th with the win and Liberty are now placed 10th with 16 points.
