Ghana Premier League Matchday 8 Preview: Eleven Wonders v Inter Allies

Published on: 05 February 2020

Eleven Wonders are in search of their third win of the season as they prepare for a battle with Inter Allies in Techiman.

Eleven Wonders have been underwhelming since the start of the season. The Techiman-based side have a negative goal difference of negative two after scoring just four goals and conceding six so far.

They are however showing signs of improvement in the competition. They accumulated all current seven points from their last four matches after losing their opening three league fixtures.

Eleven Wonders are developing a ruthless streak at home, winning their previous two in the competition. They are currently in 13th place and will aim to earn another win on their own turf as they await the arrival of Inter Allies.

Inter Allies are also experiencing some struggles. They did manage an impressive 4-2 victory in their previous match but the team has only earned seven points overall. They have lost three of their last five league games.

Tony Lokko's men have conceded the second highest number of goals in the competition so far (14) but have surprisingly scored the second highest number of goals (10). This has partly been to the form of Victorien Adebayor.

The Niger import has scored half of the team's goals and earned three man of the match awards for his performances.

He will aim to impress once again on Wednesday.

The two teams have met on three occasions. Inter Allies and Eleven Wonders have won one each and shared the spoils in the third match.
