Ghana will be keeping tabs on Uganda as the Cranes prepare for the crucial October 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The Cranes will camp in the Togolese capital, Lome, as they prepare to take on the Black Stars in Tamale. The close proximity of Ghana to Togo will afford Black Stars scouts the opportunity to keep watch over the Ugandans.

FUFA, Uganda's football governing body, confirmed that the training camp will be for three days before the match on October 7.

The training camp will then be climaxed with an international friendly match with the Togolese national team on October 4, then the Cranes will fly to Ghana the following day to play Black Stars at the Tamale Stadium.

FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein said, "All Uganda Cranes players summoned to the team will fly directly to Lome for the important training camp".

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic is expected to announce the squad at FUFA House on September 21.

Uganda have been drawn in the same 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying group with Egypt, Ghana and Congo Brazzaville.
