Ghana will be seeking to join five continental giants who have sealed their places at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon on Sunday when they take on Mauritius.

The Black Stars need just a draw in Port Louis on Sunday afternoon to seal their place in Africa's showpiece football event.

Egypt and Senegal were the latest giants to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon after some of the penultimate round of fixtures were played on Saturday.

They join other continental superpowers Cameroon, Morocco, Algeria and hosts Gabon who have already booked their tickets to Africa’s premier football competition.

Ghana top Group H with ten points and a draw against Los Dodos will ensure they join the other joins for the tournament.

The Black Stars hammered Mauritius 7-1 in the reverse fixture.

There was an eventful match in the group's first game of the weekend on Saturday in Kigali where second placed Rwanda lost 2-3 to visitors Mozambique who sit bottom of the group.

Domingues put Mozambique ahead in the 10th minute, with Jacques Tuyisenge equalising on the 37 minute mark.

Apson Manjate made it 2-1 to Mozambique with Tuyisenge scoring his second of the game to level the match at 2-2.

Helder Pelembe then scored a winner for the visitors eight minutes from time to record their first win of the campaign.

The final round of group matches will be played in September.
