This follows a report by Guardian Sport with the headline; Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus: ‘Neymar is not better than me, he’s just a high profile player’.

Since that report, the youngster has been dragged on social media with claims that he allegedly boasted of being better than the Brazilian poster boy.

Reacting to the publication by Guardian Sport, Mohammed Kudus has accused the portal of setting an agenda against him.

According to him, the report by Guardian Sport is false.

“My Family & Culture raised me to respect the elderly. @neymarjr like @Thiago6 & many legends inspired us to dream. Just like @neymarjr I humbly want to inspire the next generation like they did. @guardian_sport  whats the agenda ? Al focus on tomorrow. FAKE NEWS!!!!!!,” the Black Stars attacker said in a post on Twitter.

On Thursday, November 24, Mohammed Kudus is expected to start for Ghana in the Group H opener against Portugal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Hopefully, this will not be a distraction.
