Ghana striker John Antwi scored on Tuesday for Egyptian side Al Ahly in an Egyptian premier league game against El Entag El Harby.

The former Al Shabab striker who joined Ahly last year after a brief spell in Saudi Arabia scored on the 80th minute to compliment Walid Soliman's 58th minute strike.

The win over Harby extends Ahly's lead on the premier league table to 8 points. The CAF champions league record holders lead the table with 65 points while holders Zamalek are in second place with 57 points.

John Antwi came off the bench in the 70th minute of the match for Gabonese striker Malick Evouna and his introduction paid off exactly 10 minutes as he netted a superb header.

The former Dreams FC striker is not a stranger in Egyptian football having won the top scorers award two seasons ago during his stints with Ismaily.
