Ghana striker Majeed Waris agrees personal terms with Bursaspor

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris is on the verge of joining Turkish side Bursaspor after agreeing personal terms with the club.

The 25 year old will be moving to Turkey following an agreement between French side Lorient and Bursaspor.

Waris will be another big name to leave the French side after Cameroonian Benjamin Moukwandjo left at the end of the season.

Lorient failed to stay in the Ligue 1 after they were relegated having lost to Troyes in the play offs.

Bursaspor were tracking Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan but failed to reach an agreement with the striker who eventually joined another Turkish side Kayserispor.

Abdul Majeed Waris had a spectacular end to the French season when he scored 11 goals in the second round but was not enough to save Lorient.
