Ghana striker Okyere Wriedt scores hat-trick as Bayern Munich II beat SV Meppen 5-1

Lethal striker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt displayed good form for FC Bayern Munich II on Wednesday evening as he scored a hat-trick to steer the side to a deserved 5-1 win against SV Meppen. 

The two 3. Bundesliga clubs went head to head this evening at the Grünwalder Stadion to fight for the available 3 points on Matchday 33 as they target a strong finish to the 2019/2020 football season.

After 35 minutes of action, Ghana's Kwasi Okyere Wriedt broke the deadlock from the penalty spot after his side had dominated for the most part of the game.

A couple of minutes later, the striker got into a good position and netted his brace with an assist from Derrick Kohn. That equalizer ensures Bayern Munich II went into the break with a huge advantage over the away team.

In the second half, SV Meppen added urgency to their play and had an instant impact when Rene Guder scored to reduce the deficit for the side with an assist from Deniz Undav. 

Despite gaining momentum, they could not take advantage and allowed the home team to take control of the next 10 minutes. On the 54th minute, Kwasi Okeyere Wriedt handed the guest a sucker punch when he scored again to complete his hattrick.

Additional goals from  Derrick Kohn and Nicolas Kuhn finished off SV Meppen with FC Bayern Munich II running away with all 3 points at the end of the 90 minutes on the back of the 5-1 win.

The star man, Kwesi Okyere Wriedt has now scored 20 goals this season and has 5 assist after playing 30 matches for his team.
