Ghana will be taking part in a mini tournament in the off-season as part of preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

This has been confirmed by a communique on the website of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

At the mini-tournament, Coach Otto Addo and his Black Stars outfit will have the chance to test their strength in games against Japan, Chile, as well as Tunisia.

For coach Otto Addo and his technical team, this will be an opportunity to fine-tune the team, work on its lapses, and improve on its strengths of the team.

Before that tournament though, Ghana is now focusing on the first phase of the qualifiers for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

Today, Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has named a 33-man squad that will be playing in that two games against Madagascar and the Central African Republic.
