Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko has handed a call-up to Edward Sarpong ahead of their U-23 AFCON qualifier against Algeria next month.
Sarpong, who plays for Portuguese side Farense on loan from Portimonens is set to join the squad as they prepare for the crucial game.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko has invited the 22-year-old due to his impressive performances and believes he will be a great addition to the team.
Ghana will face Algeria in the final qualifying round of the 2019 CAF U23 Cup of Nations over two-legs next month.
The winner over two legs will join seven others for the tournament in Egypt in November this year.
