Ghana vs Uganda game to cost government $600,000

The minister for Sports Hon Nii Lante Vanderpuije has revealed the Blacks stars 2018 world Cup qualifier against Uganda will cost the nation $600,000.

Ghana will be seeking to make her fourth successive world Cup appearance in Russia but will need to go past Uganda, Congo and Egypt.

However, the minister insists the nation’s world Cup ambition will take a lot from their coffers. "Ghana vs Uganda will cost the country close to $600,000 "- Hon Nii Lantei Vanderpuije told Kumasi based Nhyira FM.

The Black stars have left Accra to Tamale, venue for their game against the Cranes of Uganda on Friday
