Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana cameos in Southampton’s big win over Preston

Ghana international, Kamaldeen Sulemana made a cameo appearance on Tuesday night to help Southampton to thrash Preston North End 3-0 in the English Championship.

The talented winger missed out on a starting role today but had the chance to play the last seven minutes of the Round 36 contest.

In a game played at St. Mary’s Park, Kamaldeen Sulemana was introduced into the game in the 83rd minute to replace David Brooks.

He added firepower to the attack of Southampton as the team held on to secure three important points.

In the game against Preston today, Che Adams scored after 18 minutes to open the scoring for the hosts after he was set up by Adam Armstrong.

Che Adams later equalized again in the 29th minute to double the lead for the Saints before a Stuart Armstrong strike in the 33rd minute wrapped up the victory before halftime.

The big win keeps Southampton in 3rd position on the league table as the team pushes for promotion to the English Premier League.
