Dreamz Ladies skipper, Stella Nyamekye has been crowned as the NASCO Women’s Premier League Player of the Month for October.
Stella performed excellently by playing all four games and scoring 4 goals in the month of October – as she won the NASCO player of the match twice in the process.
She beats off competition from Supreme Ladies’ Linda Owusu Ansah, Hasaacas Ladies’ Doreen Copson and Thunder Queens’ Gloria Fosua.
She will take home a NASCO 32 inch Television set, a trophy as well as a cash prize from title sponsors Malta Guinness.
Meanwhile, head coach of Hasaacas Ladies, Yusif Basigi has been named as NASCO Coach of the Month for October.
The Ghana Women’s Premier League will resume in January after the 2022 FIFA World World Cup.
The eighth matchweek of the Women’s top flight competition is set to take place in each zone from January 27–31, 2023.
The final round of games will be played on matchday 18 which is scheduled for April 28- May 1, 2023.
The champion will be declared after the final which will be played between May 19- 22, 2023.
