Head Coach of the national under-17 team, the Black Starlets, Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin says he is not going to underrate any team in Group A of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Ghana have been drawn in group A together with host India, CONCACAF side the United States of American and South Americans, Colombia.

Ghana looks favourite in the group as they have won the competition twice, first in 1991 and in 1995.

However, Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin insists despite being regarded as favourites in the group they are not going to underestimate any team.

“It is a decent group for us, we wouldn’t underrate any team and I believe the teams in the group know our pedigree as well,” he told Ghanasportsonline.com

“We will prepare well for this tournament, we will make sure we make an impression, we have already set a target for ourselves and we are going to work towards that.

“All the three teams in the group are good sides and we will approach each one of them with all the seriousness.”

Ghana qualified for the world cup after ten years of missing at the tournament, placing second at the Africa Junior Championship.

The Black Starlets last appearance in Korea 2007 saw them place fourth.
