The 18-year-old Ghanaian has played a total of 151 minutes for the team, including two UEFA Champions League games against Marseille and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to media outlet, Record, Issahaku is seeking for more playing time and is not likely to get that at Sporting.

The young forward has had experience playing for Ghana's U-17, U-20, and senior national teams, the Black Stars.

In 2021, Issahaku was a key member of Ghana's U-20 team that won the U-20 African Cup of Nations tournament in Mauritania. He was also awarded the player of the tournament award for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament.

However, the young forward's talent and potential have caught the attention of several clubs and it's likely that he will have options for playing time at other clubs.

It remains to be seen if the club will grant his request and where the young forward will end up next.
