Ghanaian international, Aaron Opoku is set to miss many games for Hamburg SV in the coming weeks.

The talented winger was in action for Hamburg SV over the past weekend when the team played against SV Darmstadt 98.

During the match, Aaron Opoku kicked an opponent in the stomach and was marched off the pitch when he was shown a red card.

Subsequently, there were fears that he could be suspended for as many as four matches after a review of the incident.

The decision has been taken by the sports court of the German Football Association (DFB)

His club, Hamburg SV have approved the decision and no appeal will be made.
