Ghanaian attacker John Yeboah returns to VfL Wolfsburg after loan stint

Ghanaian attacker John Yeboah has returned to his parent club VfL Wolfsburg after a season-long loan spell, VVV Venlo have announced.

Yeboah joined the Dutch Eredivisie side last summer from the German Bundesliga club for more playing time.

The 19-year-old is expected to be part of Oliver Glasner's plans for next season following a successful loan stint at VVV Venlo.

The club's official statement reads: "Yeboah also returns to the club that rented it to VVV: VfL Wolfsburg."

"On the last day of the summer transfer market, John strengthened the selection of VVV-Venlo."

The highly-rated forward, who scored on his debut for VVV Venlo against FC Groningen made 18 appearances in all competitions during his spell.

Yeboah is still eligible to represent Ghana despite playing for the Germans at the U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19, and U-20 level.
