Ghanaian international, Joseph Ansah Ekuban says he is ready to work hard to help his club Virtus Francavilla after recovering from his injury.

Speaking to Corriere dello Sport the younger brother of Caleb Ekuban said, “I come from an important injury, behind it there was a lot of work to get back to the top. And then I have to thank Mr. Taurino because he made me understand that I am central to the project, how I can lend a hand in the team game. In particular, it gives me the freedom to step back a little to play. And then I'm growing a lot with the use of my body too.

He continued, “Last year I was a little bit unripe, but I'm making important steps and now I feel calmer on the pitch.

"Ventola allows me to act as a link attacker, it gives me more freedom. With Maiorino, for example, I'm the tip. And with Perez I have a good relationship, he talks to me a lot during training and is always ready to show me the way to go. He is a sergeant, a leader, like Miceli and the other 'greats' of the group. This year there is a different air.”

The talented attacker is only 21-years old and dreams of developing to play for the top clubs not only in Italy but Europe.
