Ghanaian international Mike Owusu registered his name on the scoresheet on Saturday evening to help the team brush aside SV Straelen by 3 goals to nothing.
The two German Regionalliga West clubs faced off today in a Matchday 2 fixture of the ongoing season at the Sudstadion.
Following a very good start to the game in the first half, Mike Owusu got on the scoresheet to open the scoring for Fortuna Köln on the 24th minute.
Later on, a penalty converted by Franco Uzelac doubled the lead for the home team to send the side into the break with a good feeling about themselves.
They will return from the break to score again through Francis Ubabuike to ensure they cruised to a deserved 3-0 won.
Mike Owusu, 25, lasted 81 minutes of the action and displayed a very good form.
