Ghanaian attacker, Prince Ampem has been named in the Croatian HNL Team of the Week for Matchday 9 following his outstanding performance for HNK Rijeka over the weekend.
The exciting forward was in action for his club on Saturday when the team played as a guest to Gragovolijac.
On the back of an unimpressive showing in the first half, Rijeka trailed by two goals at the break and needed a revival in the second half.
Fortunately, the team could count on danger man Prince Ampem. The striker who has been in form in recent weeks scored with a stunning effort in the 57th minute to halve his team’s deficit.
Going on to play a key role in the attack of his team, the attacker inspire his team to score again three minutes later to draw level and force the game to end 2-2.
For his impressive displays, Prince Ampem has today been named in the Croatian HNL Team of the Week.
