Ghanaian defender Abdul Ibrahim set for new challenge after joining Portuguese side Famalicão

Ghanaian international, Abdul Ibrahim has completed his switch to Portuguese top-flight side Clube de Famalicão ahead of the upcoming football season.

In a bid to strengthen the team’s squad for the 2020/2021 football campaign, they have been in the transfer market recruiting reinforcements.

At the end of successful negotiations, Clube de Famalicão has this month been able to wrap up the signing of Abdul Ibrahim from Desportivo de Chaves.

“Abdul Ibrahim is the latest new guy on the squad of Futebol Clube de Famalicão. The 21-year-old left defender signed a contract valid until the end of the 2022/2023 season”, a club statement said to confirm the signing.

Abdul Ibrahim after making the next step in his career with the Portuguese club is now eager for the start of the next football season. He has vowed to put in the needed work to ensure he gets to play regularly.

The left-back moved to Portugal in 2017 in a transfer that saw him partying ways with Ghana Premier League outfit West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).
