Ghana international Daniel Opare did not train with his teammates ahead of Royal Antwerp clash against Cercle Brugge in the Jupiler Pro league.

The 28-year-old was reported to have missed training due to family reasons and it is unclear whether he will feature against Cercle Brugge.

The former Real Madrid defender has been a key co for the Belgian side since joining them from German outfit Augsburg in the summer.

The Black Stars right-back recently returned from an injury he suffered whiles playing former side Standard Liege.

Despite the injuries, the Ghanaian has played eleven times in the Belgian topflight league this season helping his side to third place after just 17 games.

Royal Antwerp will, however, have Opare's compatriot William Owusu starting as DR Congo star Mbokani remains a doubt for the clash on Saturday afternoon.

Opare signed a contract with the Belgian Club as a free agent after his contract with Augsburg had run out.
