Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng joins Bordeaux on a four-year deal

Ghanaian youngster Enock Kwateng has completed his move to Bordeaux committing his future to the club for at least the next four years after his contract with Nantes expired in the summer.

Kwateng, who was a youth prospect of Nantes has joined the Girondins until summer 2023.

The 22-year-old 22 was trained in Nantes in 2012 and has represented France at all youth levels. Since then, he has played 40 games, including 30 last season and made one assist.

The highly-rated right-back is expected to resume training on July 1 and is set to compete with Italian right-side Raoul Bellanova (19), who is currently playing in the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Poland.

Enock is the second singing of the club following the acquisition of Mozambican central defender Edson Mexer who joined the club at the end of his contract with Rennes.
