Ghana international John Boye is set to leave French Ligue 1 side FC Metz in the summer when his contract expires in June.

Boye has only three months left on his current contract with the club and is expected to be a free agent in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 32-year-old has been in fine form for Maroons this season, scored two goals in 24 games in the league so far this far.

He joined Metz from Sivasspor last season and has since been a mainstay in the heart of defence, helping them gain promotion to Ligue 1.

Metz are yet to open contract extension talks with the Ghanaian, however other clubs in Europe have expressed interest in signing him.

He has made 67 appearances for the Black Stars and scored six goals in the process.

He has previously played Hearts of Lions, Rennes, Kayseri Erciyesspor and Sivasspor.
