Ghanaian defender Jonathan Mensah has been included in the MLS Team of the Week following his impressive display for Columbus Crew on Saturday.
Mensah was rock-solid at the heart of defence as he helped his side seal a 2-0 victory over Nashville SC at the MAPFRE Stadium.
The 30-year-old finished the game with a duel win percentage of 71.4 and a game-high three blocks, in addition to four clearances, two interceptions, and an 89.8-percent passing accuracy.
The Black Stars defender has made nine league appearances for Columbus Crew so far this season.
This is the second time Mensah has been included in the Major League Soccer Team of the Week this term.
