Ghanaian defender Kassim Nuhu features in TSG Hoffenheim win over Hannover 96

Ghana international Kassim Nuhu was in action for TSG Hoffenheim in their 3-0 win over Hannover 96 on Saturday in the German Bundesliga.

Nuhu lasted the entire duration of the game at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

The former Young Boys defender was very impressive at the back as Hoffenheim picked up all three points in matchday 22 of the German top flight.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side took the lead through Joelinton’s strike as he beat goalkeeper Michael Esser in the 4th minute of the game.

The lead was quickly doubled when Belfodil, who scored a brace from the bench in last week’s comeback draw at Borussia Dortmund, flicked on a Demirbay free-kick into the far corner with the back of his neck

Demirbay and Andrej Kramaric had some glorious chances to score more goals before the former finally curled home his fourth goal of the season to deepen Hannover 96’s woes.

The 22-year-old has made eight appearances for TSG  Hoffenheim so far this term.

He joined the German side in 2018 on a five-year deal and has since been an integral part of the team.
