Ghanaian defender Kennedy Boateng has expressed his readiness to help Austrian side SV Ried stay in the league after helping the club secure promotion to the Bundesliga.
Boateng played a vital role as SV Ried qualified to play in the Austrian Bundesliga for next season.
He made 21 appearances for the club and scored one goal last season.
"I think it has been a great season," he told Sportsworldghana.com. "It's been a great season and also a rough season for we guys because you know during this time we had this coronavirus outbreak making things difficult for us but for me and my team we kept our focus very high," he added.
"Currently, I have one more year contract with the team and I think I have to help the team to play in the league and also help the club to stay in the league when the season starts.
"Playing in the first league is really a good standard for my football career," he concluded.
