Ghanaian defender Konadu Yiadom to make Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih debut

Ghanaian defender Konadu Yiadom is expected to make his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih this weekend.

The 21-year-old centre-back has been included in the matchday squad for the Premier League clash on Saturday against NK Veres-Rivne.

Having made the squad, the former WAFA captain will likely play his first game for the club in the top-flight.

Konadu joined the Ukrainian outfit in September 2023 on season long loan from Ghana Premier League club, Hearts of Oak.

The highly-rated defender arrived in Ukraine last week to begin Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih adventure after overcoming travel documentation challenges.

Konadu has trained with the team throughout the week and is in line for a dream debut in Europe.

Last season, the defender maed 20 appearances for Hearts of Oak, scoring two goals in the process.

Kryvbas, currently enjoying a successful season, sit second in the league standings with 43 points from 21 matches, aiming for continental football qualification next season.
