Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau scores for Telstar against TOP Oss

Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau scored the only goal in Telstar's victory against TOP Oss in the Eerste Divisie.

The head-to-head record for the teams before the game was Telstar 10 wins, TOP Oss six wins, and eight draws.

Mitch Apau started the game at the 711 Stadion and lasted the full 90 minutes.

Apau played along side Soares, and Danny Bakker. Dutch-born Ghanaian midfielder Robin Polley also featured for Telstar and lasted 69 minutes.

The away side had more possession and shots in the entertaining encounter.

Telstar defender Danny Bakker was sent off in the 5th. Both sides headed to the dressing room with the score goalless.

After the break, both coaches brought on fresh legs and changed tactics in an attempt to get their team to score.

Mitch Apau's right footed shot from very close range to the centre of the goal following a corner gave Telstar the victory in added time.

Telstar will play Helmond Sport in their next league game.
