Germany-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Stephan Kofi Ambrosius has stepped up training in the gym after making full recovery from his injury.

The strong centre-back picked up a knee injury in the second round of the 2020/2021 football season and as a result, had to miss a number of games.

Due to his continuous absence in the backline of his Hamburg SV outfit, they suffered dearly in matches and unfortunately missed out on securing promotion to the German Bundesliga at the end of the campaign.

After shaking off the injury and completing his rehab, Stephan Ambrosius has been hitting the gym this past week.

Today, he has stepped up training as he looks forward to regaining full fitness before the start of his team’s pre-season.

Although there are speculations he could leave the German Bundesliga 2 club in the summer window, sources anticipate that he would stay to help Hamburg SV fight for promotion next season.
